Instructions for Authors

IJCERT is a  peer-reviewed journal. The journal seeks to publish original research articles that are hypothetical and theoretical in their nature and that provide exploratory insights into the fields of educational theory, teaching method, instructional design, student management, case studies, etc. in both undergraduate and graduate levels. The editorial board welcomes high-quality research or review papers focusing on teaching, researching, training, and applied work in the field of higher education.

It is academic, online, open access (abstract), peer reviewed international journal. It aims to publish original, theoretical and practical advances in the following areas

• Engineering & Technology Areas
• Development Studies
• Science 
• Business Management 
• Arts and Humanities
• Social Science

The journal aims to disseminate original, scientific, theoretical, or applied research from multidisciplinary domains such as Engineering & Technology, Development Studies, Science, Business Management, Arts & Humanities, and Social Science to provide a platform for publishing results and research with a strong empirical component and to bridge the gap between research and practise by promoting the publication of original, novel, industry-relevant research.

Papers for the regular issues of the journal can be submitted, round the year, electronically at Submit Here After the final acceptance of the paper, based upon the detailed review process, the paper will immediately be published online. However, assignment of the paper to an specific Volume / Issue (see archive) of the Journal will be taken up by the Editorial Board later; and the author will be intimated accordingly. For Theme Based Special Issues, time bound Special Call for Papers will be announced and the same will be applicable for that specific issue only.

The submission of a paper implies that the work presented has not previously been published and is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere. The submission must be approved by all of the paper's authors. If a paper is finally accepted, the authorities where the work was done are accountable for not publishing the work in the same form elsewhere. Once a paper has been submitted for review in IJCERT, it cannot be removed unless it is ultimately rejected.

Author(s) be sure that:

1. Plagiarism Check: Good quality plagiarism software/ tool (Turnitin / iThenticate) will be used to check similarity that would not be more than 20% including the reference section. In the case of exclusion of references, it should be less than 5%.
2. Quality Check: All submitted papers should be cutting-edge, result-oriented, original papers and under the scope of the journal that should belong to the  Engineering & Technology, Development Studies, Science, Business Management, Arts & Humanities, and Social Science areas. In the paper title, there should not be word ‘Overview/brief/ Introduction, Review, Case study/ Study, Survey, Approach, Comparative, Analysis, Comparative Investigation, Investigation’.
3. Paper Submission Criteria: : Any one author cannot submit more than 03 papers for the same volume/issue.
4. Review Criteria: This journal uses peer review process. All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by two reviewers one from India and rest one from overseas. There should be proper comments from the reviewers for the purpose of acceptance/ rejection. There should be a minimum 03 to 04-week time window for it.
5. eCopyright: All authors will submit ecopyright to the IJCERT.
6. Template: All accepted papers should be formatted as per Journal Template. Be sure that Each author's profile (min 100 words) along with a photo should be included in the final paper/camera-ready submission(Optional)  . It is be sure that the contents of the paper are fine and satisfactory. The author (s) can make rectification in the final paper but after the final submission to the journal, rectification is not possible. In the formatted paper, volume no/ issue no will be in the right top corner of the paper. In the case of failure, the papers will be declined from the database of journals and publishing houses.
7. Updation in the Paper: Please be sure that
   1. Each author's profile along with a photo (min 100 words) has been included in the final paper.
   2. Final paper is prepared as per journal the template.
   3. The contents of the paper are fine and satisfactory. Author (s) can make rectification in the final paper but after the final submission to the journal, rectification is not possible.
8. Copyright Property: After the publication, the conference proceeding will be the property of the publishing house and journal.
9. Publication Fee:The International Journal of Computer Engineering Research Trends-IJCERT publishes all articles in complete open access. An article processing charge (APC) of $80/80€ (for foreign authors) or INR 3500 (for Indian authors) applies to papers accepted after peer review in order to provide free access to readers and pay the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management.

   A Normal paper may contain up to 4 authors and 15 pages. Additional authors (more than 4 authors) will charge Rs 500/10$/10€ and additional page ( more than 15 pages ) will charge Rs 200 / 5$ / 5€.

10. Required Time for Endorsement: It will take a minimum 03 to 04 weeks.

Manuscript Submission
Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.

Permissions
Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.
